As a lifelong Preston resident, chartered town planner and director at Cassidy + Ashton, Alban is responsible for leading the planning team which has played a key role on various schemes across the city and wider region. Notably, Alban was responsible for the planning consultancy on the award-winning refurbishment scheme of Preston Bus Station.

Why did you decide to become a PP board member?

After several years working in conjunction with private stakeholders and local government on many of Preston’s most iconic developments, becoming involved with Preston Partnership felt like a natural step to continue to promote the growth of the city through collaboration between the private and public sector.

What is your Preston ambition?

To encourage community engagement and continued collaboration to ensure that the greatest potential of the city is reached for Preston’s residents and businesses. Preston has seen a great deal of positive change over recent years and our ambition is to continue this as far as possible across Preston’s various communities.
