With over 25 years of experience gained in land, property, economic development, regeneration and commercial positions, Beckie is a natural collaborator driven by the satisfaction of finding and promoting the win-win scenario. Beckie has worked in Preston for over 10 years and set up Radics Consulting in 2020 to help private and public sector clients deliver their projects and transform communities.
Why did you decide to become a PP board member?
On the first day of my first job in Preston I was struck by its great assets; West Coast mainline, parks, UCLan and heritage buildings. The city seemed to ooze potential. I want to help the board create a sustainable business model so it can play its part in realising that potential.
What is your Preston ambition?
I want to see the city perform and behave like a city at the heart of a wider city region – culturally and economically. I want to see the city reverse its net outflow of younger people by creating the right conditions for employers to both stay, start up and relocate to the city.
