Born in Preston, John qualified as a solicitor in 1997 specialising in resolving property disputes and has had a keen interest in property development and regeneration throughout his career.
He joined Harrison Drury in 2006 and became managing partner in 2007. Headquartered in Preston, John has spearheaded its growth, employing over 130 staff in offices across Lancashire and Cumbria.
John is also the chair of St Catherine’s Hospice, a founding director of Winckley Square Community Interest Company and plays a lead role in in the running of Preston Grasshoppers Rugby Football Club.
Why did you decide to become a PP board member?
As a proud Prestonian, I am keen to contribute to the development of the city, making it a better place to live, work and socialise. Preston Partnership is a fantastic forum for collaborative working between the private and public sector with the common aim of driving the city forward.
What is your Preston ambition?
Preston to be a place that has everything people want for its residents to achieve their ambitions and to welcome visitors to a vibrant, diverse and exciting city.
